Tuesday’s loafing

Well Betty and I are in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The church gave us a few days in a cabin here for my birthday and we are really enjoying ourselves. It is a beautiful cabin owned by one of our friends from Whitfield Baptist Church. Today was the first time we left the cabin since we got here. We are in a Krystal right now connected to the internet and trying to get caught up on a few emails and blogs.

God has been so good to us. He gave us a good day Sunday and I praise Him for how He is working in our midst.

This Thursday night we start our World Vision Celebration. It is going to be a blast without a doubt. God is going to bless with the different speakers that He is sending our way. Thursday night we will have Fred Kindhart and Jeff Bush. That will be a real blessing.

I have heard some really wild things that are happening around the world. A pastor lost his son to drowning this past week. Brother Munday is the pastor of a church that supported us while we were missionaries. He lost his wife to cancer three years ago and now his son. Please pray for him.

We will be back in God’s country, Alpharetta-Cumming on Thursday afternoon and excited about seeing all of you and really looking forward to a great mission’s conference.

I may be slow responding to email etc while up here because I promised Betty that we wouldn’t be here all the time and just needed a few minutes to at least stay close to up to date.

God bless. See you on Thursday.
