Chris Gardner’s prayer letter

Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,

This has been a busy month. I was just looking over my blog to see what material I needed to put into my prayer letter when I started thinking that I might as well write a book this month. We have traveled to Cobija, Bolivia during the last days of last month. I preached a revival there at the church where missionary Lorenzo Laura is working. I ask you to be in prayer for his church. The Lord has opened the door for him to buy a piece of property. The property is going to cost right at $5200. The church, along with missionary Kevin White, has saved up almost all of the money needed for the property. They are only $1000 short! We have found that helping to purchase the property for a church is one of the greatest things that we can do to get the church to be totally indigenous. If you would like to have a part in helping with the property there in Cobija, please send a check to Macedonia and mark it for Bolivia and we will get the money to them there.

This month we also had the privilege of traveling to Chile and we spent time there with missionaries Curtis and Debra Couch. We really enjoyed being at their church and preaching there. God is truly blessing their ministry in great ways. Pray for the Couch family that God would continue blessing their ministry in Chile.

This month, the family has gone through some interesting things as well. Jacob has been dealing with pneumonia. Pray for him. He has now overcome most of it but we have been told that he will have to be taking medicine to help him out for the next 4 months. Andrew now seems to be getting sick as well. I have always heard that when it rains it pours, but I now am beginning to understand it even more. Pray for Jacob that he will get better and have all that energy again.

We have had two groups here to visit and have enjoyed having them. Corinth Baptist Church and Victory Baptist Church came to visit. I really enjoy these trips and I always pray that the Lord will allow us to impact the lives of young people to be a part in impacting the world.

Pray for the Bible College as well. I want to thank everyone that has started supporting students here in the college. That has been such an incredible blessing. We are still running a bit short on the operating budget of the Bible College. If you would like to help us with this need and maybe provide a scholarship for a student, please write us at I also encourage you to check out our blog. There is so much information there that it makes it very easy to stay up to date with us. Go to
May God continue to bless you in all that you do,

Chris, Andria, Jacob, Hannah and Andrew
