Well it really feels wonderful for Betty and me to be in our house, in our bed room, and about to collapse in our bed. I can never tell you how much it means to us to be with you. We got up on Wednesday (Georgia Time) at 10 Am to leave the house at 11 am and arrive at the airport at 2 am in Belfast. We then arrived in Atlanta at 4:30 and were picked up by David and Katie Gardner.
It was wonderful to be back in the Georgia heat and to see folks that we love and missed so much. The service at the church was great tonight. Tony Howeth as usual preached a wonderful message. He is wonderful. Every time I hear him preach I think that he is getting better.
Then to see all of you, what a blessed fellowship. I can’t wait to share with you the plans of things that we are going to be doing to be all that God would have us to be and do as a church. We will, Lord willing, be averaging 200 by December. There are a lot of things on the horizon and so I hope that you will be praying about them that I will make the right decision and have power as God moves.
I really want to see us busing in some young people that can be won to Christ and then become the army of God that will take the gospel to the world. That means more workers and everything but it will truly produce people that God can use.
I am also looking at an early service at 8 am for others that do not now attend our church. It will mean more work but if it means that we can reach more people it will be a tremendous blessing. So there is lots to do and I need your help. Please talk to me. Help me and encourage me to do more than we have ever done to get the gospel out. I look forward to great things.
