Colossians 3:21 “Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.”

Don’t provoke your children to wrath Ephesians 6:4
i. Over protection
ii. Favoritism
iii. Unrealistic expectations
iv. Never complementing them
v. Not making them feel wanted
vi. Having conditional love
vii. Physical or verbal abuse
viii. Wanting them to be just like you
ix. Pushing them too hard
x. Expecting things that we want when it is not what they want
xi. Getting your priorities out of order
xii. Telling them that they will never make anything of themselves even though you do not mean it you are just trying to motivate them
xiii. Always being negative
xiv. Not keeping your promises
xv. Don’t let family time or responsibilities in your life or the life of your children take the place of church or church activities
