This morning’s message is entitled “But if not!” and deals with what you do when things do not work out like you wanted them to work out. The three Hebrew children as we typically call them were all ready to see God deliver them but if He didn’t they had made up their minds that they would serve God anyway. How conditional is your love for the Lord Jesus! How much do you say God give me what I want and then get upset if He doesn’t? God does have great plans for our lives and I can’t wait to see them but I tell you now that He is able and He will if He wants to but if He doesn’t I will still serve the Lord.
I love our church. I know that God is going to do something great but I also know that whatever He wants is what is best and I will go and give and pray like as though He is going to do what I expect but if He doesn’t I have still decided to serve the Lord. It is kind of like the song that Philip has been singing about Job that says, I served Him before and I will serve Him now.
God is so good to us. I am so excited about what He is doing in our church. I know that we are going to have a great day!
See you in a few! God bless.
