I spoke to Kevin Hall today. Many of you know that today was their first service in the Kosa language. Kevin and Corli are the first American fundamental Baptists that we know of that have learned the language and preached and sang in it so today was a historical day. They had 15 in attendance though they were having heavy rains and all the people walk to church. Several young men that Kevin is training took part in the service and Kevin preached in the language nearly 30 minutes. This is a great break through. He promised to send me some pictures to show you soon. I hope that you will pray for both Kevin and Corli.
Because Corli is South African and working at getting her green card as an American she will have to return to the states for a few days every six months. I have invited Corli to come and speak to our ladies in March. I will give you further updates soon so that you can make plans to be with the ladies when Corli speaks to them.
Today was a wonderful day at Vision. Our numbers were a little lower than average but God really moved. We had 86 in Sunday School and 111 in church and the offering was just over $2,000. I don’t remember exactly since I am home writing you this note. I preached on How to Fight and I believe that God moved. I will be continuing the message tonight and hope that you will be able to be with us.
I am so excited about what God is doing in our church. We are seeing new people every week and it is wonderful to see all that God has planned for us. Tonight the staff men will be leaving to go to a cabin in the mountains without our wives to pray and plan for the rest of this year. It is going to be a wonderful year. Please pray for us as we seek God’s face in all the things that He would have us to do this year.
