Location and TimesBrother Patterson is a greatly used missionary. He needs our prayers so I hope that you will make this a matter of prayer. Dear Praying Friends:
Dr. Mike Patterson was taken to the emergency room last night with complications resulting from the prostate cancer surgery performed this last September, and is presently going into surgery to alleviate the situation. For the last few weeks, he has had great difficulty in urinating properly. As of Sunday, he was in terrible pain.
Yesterday, his doctor tried unsuccessfully to insert a catheter. Late last night, Mom took him to the emergency room, where they waited until 4 AM for a urologist that never went to see them. At 7:30 this morning, they went to the urologist’s office, where he tried to perform an ultrasound.
The ultrasound was also unsuccessful. According to the urologist, Dad has some type of blockage in the urethra. At this moment, he is in surgery to remove the blockage.
Your prayers in his behalf are truly appreciated. Most of the family are far away, but Mom is at his bedside. We know the Lord is with him as well.
