Birthplace: I am 18 years old, borm on September 29, 1987 in Arequipa , Peru my parents Julio Cesar Santos Molero and Madeline Maria CorralesYana and my siblings: Renzo, Javier, Santo Corrales and Julio Cesar Santos Corrales We were catholic, I had problems of family violence, usually every weekend. My father was an alcoholic and was a home divided my whole life. Those difficulties drew me to Christ. I began to become involved in alcohol and drugs at the age of 14. My life was a complete disaster, I hated my father, every weekend I would drink and consume drugs. At 15 I started to get involved with street gangs, my life was vanishing.
How I came to know Christ: It was the 17 th of November 2003 after a strong family discussion, my mom made a decision to leave the house. We moved in with my grandma. In this time I had emmocional problems During this next week, November 17 through the 23 of the same year. The same week we moved I attempted suicide three times. Sunday the 23 rd to finalize that week I came with my distant uncle and he invited me to Faith Baptist Church, The following week Sunday the 30 th I attended Faith Baptist Church and went there and received Christ that night.
Call to the ministry: It wa at the World Wide conference for evangelism, where I heard the preaching of Elmer Fernandez about hell and God touched my heart that is when I gave my life to serve for the Lord. In Faith church I had met Luis Alejandria, he was a seminary student that took me to the conference and he invested part of his time in my life.
Plans for the future: Actually, I have a ministry as a music director, I am superintendent of Sunday school and a Sunday school teacher, I am a captain of routes and cell groups as well. Also, I am a teacher at the bible institute. I have plans. By God he opened a door for a work in the central zone of Daucarpata, while I am here working, discipling families of that place. I have goals to be a missionary. In the economical aspect I am living with support from my family, that very soon, that help will be no more. I give them thanks for everything. I thank God for what he has done and will do for me and my life. There are other people who need to know the gospel and we must take it to them. |
