Birthplace: My name is Miguel Angel Mego Delgado. My parents are Juana Delgado Arcila and Jose Ines Mego. I have 3 siblings; they are John, Carlos, and Luis. I was born on December 15, 1981, in the the city of Chiclayo which is in the north of Peru.

How I came to know Christ: After spending time with a friend from church that worked with me. He attended a Christian church. He and his family invited me to their house. One of his children, seeing the way that I was, and my way of life, invited me to church where I learned that what I had been doing was wrong. They really impressed upon me what Christ could do with my life. I went to that church on December 15, 2000; I will never forget that day. That day is really special to me. I did not accept Christ that day as my personal Savior that day, but I accepted Him the following month and was baptized 3 months later. This is how I started serving the Lord.

How Christ has changed my Life: My life before I met the Lord was full of rejection because I had never met my father. My grandparents raised me. They were Catholics and believed in the images and taught me to believe in them also. After years passed and I graduated from high school, I decided to move out of my house and look for the best things for my life. One time, while I was in the south of Peru , working in civil construction, I found myself all alone and away from my family. I had no one to advise me. I was in Arequipa working and spending all the money that I was earning in the things of this world. I wanted to change myself, but I found myself in an unstable job. I did continue doing things that were ruining my life instead of improving it. This was my life before Christ, but He has totally changed my life.

My Calling into the Ministry: Later in a Youth Congress, God called me to preach, and I felt joy in my heart to serve the Lord full-time. I thank God for the Seminary where, together with its pastors, we can prepare ourselves for the battle of winning the world for Christ. The people that were very influential in my life were the person who discipled me and, of course, my preacher in the “Iglesia Bautista Hunter,” pastor Miguel Murillo.

My Plans for the Future : Right now, I live in my church, and I live by faith with a desire to, one day, start a new church. It does not matter to me what I have or what happens to me as long as I get to serve God.
