Birthplace: My name is Leonardo Mamani Mollares. I am 32 years old. I was born in the city of Ica on November 5, 1973. I have 5 siblings. My parents live in Ica , and are Catholics. 

How I came to know Christ: In 2002, I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart. I was attending the “Iglesia Bautista Livertad” in Ayacucho where the pastor Marcelino Sosa preached about the Light. 

How Christ has changed my life: Before I was saved, I joined the military when I was 18 years old. I served in the department of Junin, in the Satipo zone. It was the year 1990 when the “Shining Light” controlled the zone. Four years later, I found myself in court because I had friends who were involved in a gang who assaulted people. I was not involved, but I paid the price of 2 years in prison because I was their friend. Now, God has totally changed my life and my friends. He has made me a new creature. 

Call to the ministry: This year, God called me to the ministry in the Youth Congress in Arequipa . There, I decided to study in the Macedonia Baptist Seminary where I am in my 3 rd year. 

Plans for the future: My vision is to be a missionary, and my goal is to open a new church.
