Birthplace: My name is Juan Carlos Mamani Gondori. My parents are Ambrosio and Juana. I have three brothers: Ofelia, Susana, and Hilda. I am 19 years old. I was born on may 27, 1986. I live in Arequipa-Mollendo.

How I came to Christ: I was a very rebellion child. I tried to make my own life, this was during my adolescence. My family didn't go to any church and didn't have any kind of belief about God. But if someone talked to us about god, we had a very good attitude. All we needed was someone to help us and instruct us.

How God changed my life: Almost all my family is saved. Since my salvation at the age of 16, I've been involved in the things of God. I have been saved for 3 and a half years. I love to spend time in the church with the brethren and the pastor. I would go with the pastor everywhere he went and was always willing to serve. I believe that god was preparing me.

My calling: During a missionary conference at my church, I accepted the calling of God to serve him full time. I felt that god was calling me to preach his word and god confirmed this in my life during a youth congress at the seminario baustista Macedonia . That was when I surrendered all my life to God. It was after this congress that I decided to go to the seminary, I am now about to graduate. The seminary is a place, but more than that it is my home. There I meet great men of God and it is a great place to train. I learn many things about the bible, things that I never imagined. To cover our expenses, we have to work and do much labor. But one thing that I have learned is to depend on God even when we lack many things, I'm always praying that God would supply my needs.

Future plans: I have a heart for people. God has called me to preach his word. One of my other goals is to start a church in Mollendo. And then maybe go as a missionary outside of my country.
