Birthplace: My name is Huber Henri Olarte Flores. My parents are Efrain Olarte Figuersa and Isiela Flores Viga. I have 3 siblings; they are Mariela, Deyri, and Jose Miguel. I was born on September 20, 1976 in the Miraflores district in the Province of Arequipa , in the Department of Arequipa, Peru. 

How I came to know Christ: I was tired of a life of alcoholism that I lived in before I met the Lord. A missionary witnessed to me. I had been drinking, and I was sorry for all the pain that I had caused my family. I was walking to the bar, and I met an American that was sharing the Word of God to some children. I went up to him and told him what was happening in my life. He caused me to see the reality of what was happening, and I recognized that I was lost, and I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. He started to change my life. 

How Christ has changed my life: In the past, before I met the Lord, I was a young person who drank very much and enjoyed the pleasures of life. I was rebellious to my parents and caused them to cry because of the things I said. I did not care about other people-whether they suffered or not. That's the person I was. God has now thoroughly changed my life. 

My Calling into the Ministry: I started attending church, though, for I while I backslid. I lived 6 or 7 years as a backslidden person. Later, I reconciled with God and the church. And, little by little, my heart started to get right, and I started to get involved in the things of the church-in the music ministry, children's Sunday school class, and in the youth ministry. In actuality, I am a leader of the young people, and I study in the Seminary. Everything that I have learned, I am teaching to my young people in my church. 

My Plans for the Future: One of my dreams that I have in my heart is to do great things for my God and prepare myself so that later I will be able to win the world for Christ. God has allowed me to start a Bible Study in a suburban town where there are families, young people, and children who want to know more of our Savior. This is a small part of what God is doing in my life, and I know that I need to prepare even more. Thank you, and God bless you.
