Birthplace: My name is Edwin Vidal Rodriguez Vilchez. My parents are Valentin Vidal Rodriguez Garate and Ana Delia Lily Vilchez Revilla. I have 3 siblings; they are Maria Alejandra (24), Anita Shirley (21), and Ana Rebeca (2). I was born July 13, 1987.

How I came to know Christ: I was born into a catholic family; my father drank, and was drunk often, causing problems in my family. One day a Christian came to my house and visited my parents, but only my mother started attending church; my father did not, but God touched his heart, and he received personal discipleship and was changed. I started attending church when I was 7 years old; and, one Sunday, I understood salvation; and I knew that I needed something in my life and accepted Christ. My pastor led me to the Lord

How Christ has changed my Life: I felt peace and joy in my heart and started to love my father. I also started seeking God through the Bible and the church, but there was a time when I was apart from God. When I was 14 years old, I restarted attending church and living for the Lord and the church. God has touched my heart to serve him.

My Calling into the Ministry: From the time I returned to church, I had peace and I knew that I should dedicate myself completely to Christ. I know that God wanted to use me and I felt that God called me into His work, but I did not say anything. I prayed about this call and when I finished my studies, I decided to prepare myself to serve God. I decided to enroll in the Seminary where I am learning much about the Bible which for me it is very important. It has been a great blessing, all the teachers, classmates and I am very happy to be here. I know that it is not easy to pay my tuition, but for the grace of God who provides for my tuition I am able to continue, and I continue hoping that God will use people in the Seminary in His projects, and that they will be a great blessing to many people called to the work of the Lord.

My Plans for the Future: While I am here in the Seminary, God is expanding my version and purpose. God put a desire in my heart to serve the Lord as a pastor. I am now praying to God that he would use me wherever he would place me and call me. I know that God will use the Seminary to open more opportunities to work for Him.
