Birthplace: I was born on December 22th, 1979 in Chorrillos district, department of Lima - Peru. My parents are: Victor Huamanciza and Grimanesa Palomino. I have 6 brothers: Daniel (26), Jonathan (21), Diana (20), Damaris (18) and Caleb (2).
How I came to know Christ: I had the privilege of being raised in a Christian family. When I was 7 I was saved. My parents were involved in the ministry, working in different places. About 3 years later I was away from God things, and I started to follow a wrong path. I got worldly friends, I drank alcohol, smoke and I went to worldly parties. I made this for 6 years when the army caught me at night, because I was a minor. They made me serve for the country. I quit it when I was 19, but before this I was in an accident for doing parachuting. I felt over some houses because the parachute got opened sooner. I lost conscience for 4 days, in the military hospital.
How Christ has changed my life: My father told me again about God and the accident was the way God showed me I was living a wrong life, so I really decided to dedicate my life to the Lord. I decided to study for becoming God's server and go to Argentina . But because of my grandfather passed away I went back home and stayed helping my parent's ministry. I started to serve with the youth program, the discipleship ministry and in the music program, while I was praying for a place to get ready for full time service. God has opened the door for me to study in the Macedonia Baptist Seminary in Arequipa city.
My calling into the Ministry: God kept my attention using pastor's messages in a great way for me. I studied a lot of things to work in different places, but I never got the peace and calm I have now doing God's will for my life. I'm already studying one semester and now one of my dreams has being fulfilled here, getting ready and knowing God wants to do great things with my life. In the seminary I had seem the great need to bring the gospel to all the creatures. So far every challenge in the seminary has being a joy, because It is a dream come true.
My Plans for the Future: I want to be a missionary. God has not showed me where yet. I am praying for his direction but I have Bolivia in my heart. If I can I would like to serve in Bolivia . I will plant a church to do God's work, multiply the ministry and train leaders and win all the country for Christ. I know Aymara , Bolivia 's native language, and I would have to learn another ones still used over there. I hope by the Grace of God to fulfill the dreams God gave me until now. Meanwhile I am helping at “Iglesia Bautista Fe” ( Faith Baptist Church ), in visitation, discipleship and cells programs. |
