Birthplace: My name is David Jonathan Bedregal Zelada. My parents are Apolinario Bedregal Lira and Isabel Zelada Zelada. I have three siblings: Daniel (16) Dante (12) and Dwhyt (8). I was born on the 5th of October, 1987 in Lima, Peru.

How I came to know Christ: I was born in a Christian family, almost everybody went to the church. I was faithful to church and Sunday School and when in class, I would be very attend and ask questions about everything that I didn't understand until my teacher could give me a more convincing explanation. When the time came that my teacher spoke of Christ, I was saved and then baptised although I didn't really understand what it meant. I got baptised about six times since I didn't really understand what it meant but when I was 14 years of age, I heard a message that my pastor preached and I understood that salvation doesn't come to a person because they are the pastor's child, but they have to recieve Jesus Christ into their own personal lives. Soon after I got saved, I realized the reason that a person should get baptised so I went ahead and followed the Lord by getting baptised.

How Christ has changed my Life: After I got saved, a lot of things changed in my life. I looked at my dad as a preacher and this called my attention to the dedication he had and that caused me to in turn want to be more dedicated to the work of God. One thing that was hard to change was my character. I was very dominant, impulsive and angry. What I would do when I got mad was I would go to the second floor and begin to think about what I was doing and then I would begin to cry out of pure anger and rage. When I was calmed, I would go back down and watch telivision. I would be more tranquil, but my thoughts were to God and I told him "God, why do I act like this. I want to change but I don't know what to do". I was serious about changing, and since I was saved, God helped me to become more friendly and I began to give the importance to each person that they deserved.

My Calling into the Ministry: I started staying around a lot of Christian men and I listened to a lot of preaching and watched Christian videos and also animated drawings of the stories of the Bible. God put in my heart to have the attitude of the great men of God of the past. I wanted their dedication, their love to people and their fervence in prayer. Little by little, I changed toward being the man that God would have me to be and more and more every day I got more of a burden for people without Christ. There were many days I would pray and cry out to God for the people of the world, the pastors, the missionaries and the teachers. I began to cry for the place that I lived because there was not much being done to help all of the people. My intemperance was pushed out of my life as it made way for a love of people. I began to love more my family and my siblings. There was always a question in the back of my mind "Will there ever be a person that will be able to change the world with the aid of God"? Then I read the biography of D.L. Moody and read where he said " I will be that man, the man that will be completely dedicated to God so that God can use him greatly". I asked God for the same thing. One day, when my father took me to the seminary, he was walking on the road and he said. "Do you like where you are heading in your life". I told him yes I did and he asked me "Did you ever think of going to the Seminary"? I told him that I didn't no. I was in a battle in my life for one week about whether I should go to the Seminary. I was praying to God and he showed me the necessity of the people in the world to hear God's Word and that I needed to learn many more things. I then told my father that I did want to go to the Seminary. It was in March 2005 that I left to go to the Seminary to prepare for the work of God. God has used the seminary to test me and to mold my character. My father has been helping me with some money, and I am doing more work to try to pay for my college bill and God has been faithful in all.

My Plans for the Future: I want to be the best servant that God has placed in this world. I would also like to found a church in "Majes", so that the people will be prepared for God and also to sow the seed in the hearts of the many people that are lost. All that I before said was done because of the will of God and I seek him daily to be conformed to His will.
