Birthplace: My name is Danny De Córdova Vélez, I was born in Lima - Peru , Only child from a single Mother named Antonieta De Cordova. I was born on August 30th, 1979 in the city of Lima-Peru . I was raised in a catholic home with my grandparents in Arequipa city almost all my life. I was studying electronic engineering, but I didn't finish it because my laziness and my disorganized life. I was living in a shallow world enjoying all I could. After my 2 grandparents died, I could not keep studying so I finished only in English Institute, where I got degree of English Interpreter and Translator. In my interest to practice the language I went to the "Iglesia Bautista Fe" for free English classes.

How I came to know Christ: The very day I went to the church someone invited me to a youth picnic, on March 2004, and it was there that David Gardner witnessed to me about Christ. I started to go to the services on Sundays and during a message from Missionary Austin Gardner; I accepted Jesus by faith 2 weeks after the day of the picnic. I received discipleship lessons and become a faithful member of the "Iglesia Bautista Fe" ( Faith Baptist Church ).

How Christ has changed my Life: Thanks to God I was able to bring my mother from a church she used to go to, where they only preach Pentecostal doctrine. Nevertheless I was still working in a pub, where I felt in my heart I should not work there anymore. I didn't quit because my lack of spirituality, but God took me out of that place, and it was then when I saw the hand of God working in my life, changing me and preparing me for full time service.

My Calling into the Ministry: The last year during the youth conference at the Macedonia Seminary I felt my heart burning, and I saw the need of the world that they needed Christ. My mother was abandoned by the rest of our family, and I needed money, so I changed my focus instead of doing God's will I started looking to the world for a job. I prayed and God gave a job. He showed me It was not for me to be in a worldly place and I quit after 4 months. I 'm studying at the Macedonia Seminary, I don't know yet what God wants for me, but I'm sure he will show me. The Lord has opened many doors for me to serve in my local church. I am currently involved in the Audio ministry, Visitation program and I am a member of the choire. A new door was opened for me thanks to God. Chris Gardner, the New Assistant South American Director, has give me the ministry where I will be keeping the information of the new scholarship program, working with him and the Seminary director Miguel Murillo and especially missionary Mark Coffey.

My Plans for the Future: I am going to study at the seminary and give all my strength to finish the preparation I need to become whatever God wants for me. I would like to study and learn everything I can from all the leaders, especially in the media ministry because It is a field I already know a little bit about. I'm going to keep serving at Faith Baptist Church and train new leaders in the ministries I'm currently involved in and keep seeking God's will for my life, "Wherever and Whenever He decides I will go, because I know he just wants the best for me."
