Most of you probably wouldn’t know this, so I thought I would let you in on a secret. At the church we have a secret meeting of all the Sunday School teacher and workers in the church on Sunday afternoons. You want to know what we say in there?
I’m probably not supposed to tell you this, but I will anyway. (Don’t tell anyone)
It was just awesome. It seemed like everyone had something to say. One told of someone getting saved just yesterday afternoon. (She was in our class that morning!). Another told of the Personal Evangelism Class and how it was many of their very first time to talk to someone about their salvation. Another told of a girl getting the assurance of her salvation. Then there were people that are wanting to get baptized and others are coming up with ways to reach out to their friends….
Then we pulled out a computer and Steven Baker, missionary in Ireland, told about the 10 people that got saved last week there in that country impossibly hard to the Gospel.
I cant imagine things that are better than this. (You can come to these meetings by the way, they are Sundays at 5:20pm)

It is officially Spring, I think. That means lots more things to do! Nice.
I’ve been excited about SS lately. How God deals with His children. I think that is extremely important to understand! If we are clueless to why or how God is working in our life I am sure we will soon get discouraged and quit, but it is amazing how God has given us a incredible object lesson to show us how he works in us! ”….For our admonition and learning that we might have hope” (Rom 9:4)
Israel. We started in Egypt and this is what we have learned:
- He brought us out, that He might bring us in! - He has one amazing plan, and in between the bringing out and the bringing in there is a lot of teaching He gives us!
- Passing the Big Test (and the little ones to)- Then, God brings us to crisis moments that either take us to the “Promised Land” or send us to wander.
- Past the Test - the battles that are necessary to be in the place He wants us to be in. Water to our back and in enemy territory…
- After the battles - What happens then? What else is there to do? That’s Sunday…
Its been good to see interest and attendance. I just want to become all He wants us to become. Im pretty sure it will be good.

Friday at 9:30 we guys are going to go to the Peachtree Golf Center and golf in the dark. Well, the lights will be on, but it should be fun.
You say, “I cant golf.” Well, it doesnt matter in the dark. And I’ve been to this place, its nice. It would pretty much be impossible to hit it out of bounds, it is a small course and more like a field than a pro course.
It is just for fun and afterwards we will go to IHOP for a midnight (or 11 o’clock) snack.
It should be just around $20 for the golf and if you dont have clubs, you can use mine.
Sorry, ladies, just for the guys this time!
Come work on your short game!

We have this blog, but for general information we have just updated and upgraded the webpage.
We have added a photo album, (but we need some pictures), the calendar of events, some general Bible resources, and an archive of lessons taught.
Check it out.

We are 2 yr. olds. Really. Our Anniversary just passed and it was a pretty great day.
13 in the class Sunday, and new people seem to come in from nowhere every week. It really is exciting to see people getting excited about the difference that the Bible makes in their life.
Just this week I have been out to lunch, on the phone, and in meetings with people in our class and it has been just amazing to see God working significantly in your lives! I pray for you all and am very encouraged when I am able to see or hear what the Lord is doing. Because it is always good.
And just a note or 2 — It was good to see Steven for the first time Sunday and have Josh back again.
Cant wait for the next time.

Cause if you do, then you might miss class.
Its spring forward this time. That means Saturday night it is approximately 1 hour later than you feel like it is. And Sunday, if you arent careful, you will sleep in late:)
Just a reminder.

Well, Stephanie Craven has been in our class for maybe 6 mo. now. And now she is going to be in the nursery - maybe every week, but maybe every other week.
But this brings up a good point. David Penman said this:
“No local church can afford to go without the encouragement and nourishment that will come to it by sending away its best people.”
And Stephanie was one our best people. SO, I sure dont want to see her go and not be here, but I know when she does that it will help all of us grow and step up.
So, I am telling you this to ask you to help take her place. She was one of the greatest inviters. She wrote letters and organized information. She cleaned the room. She participated in class, asked questions and made lessons a little more personal.
So, I hope we can be “encouraged and nourished” by losing her.
Thanks, Stephanie.

I dont know how many of you read the Pastor’s blog, but this is what he has said is coming for Sunday. I dont know of a more important message that you could make sure you hear and apply. Making sure of your salvation.
Bring someone to sit beside you and hear this important message.
This Sunday morning the message will be a very challenging and extremely important message. The Sunday AM message will be on Examine and Prove Yourself! Do you know for sure that you are saved, born again, and on your way to Heaven? Do you know from the Bible how to be sure that you are saved? Do you know the Biblical evidences of salvation?
I am not talking about feeling you are saved, having prayed a prayer or been baptized but truly born again! This Sunday morning we will examine this great truth in the light of the Word of God. Be sure to come with your friends and family and Examine and Prove Yourself!
Then on Sunday night we will finish the book of Acts this time through! I am excited about this message because we will see how Biblical Preaching ought to be! Don’t miss this Sunday. I am looking forward to what God is going to do in and through us!

I’d say that today was a good day. I dont know where to start…
5 people came today for the first time (and hopefully not their last!).
It was good to have Jason and Meredith and to see their desire to learn and grow!
Brittany returned from college for the weekend, and it was good to see her again!
I was very glad to have Sally again and see her love for the Lord just ooze out!
And it was especially good to have Brandy and Matt today!
In total we had 12 today.
But that’s not all. We met and exceeded our goal in raising money for Jason Holt. In total, so far, we have raised $179.67…that is about $30 over the goal and there is still a little more promised. Make sure and be here Thursday to hear about what we just gave to - Jason will be here!
I want to thank y’all for all the hard work you have been putting in and I think it is good to see how the Lord is working in the class.
Oh, and then after church tonight it was good to see Jared and Crystal and Rachel and Stephanie and David and more all working getting the house ready for Chris Gardner, our missionary to Peru, who will be coming in tomorrow or so. Paint and noise everywhere. I should start taking pictures…
Just wanted to give that quick report before I sleep.
Off to bed…
