Students of Vision is the name we give to our ministry dedicated to the teenagers of in community. This ministry serves and leads students to serve from 6th grade to 12th grade. We have weekly programs, monthly activities, yearly events designed to help create and maintain a community of teenagers that are passionately serving God.
Weekly Programs
Students of Vision HS (high school) & Discovery Class (middle school)
These two groups meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 am before the morning worship service. Don’t worry about remembering the names. This is simply what many call Sunday School or small groups.
3S | Sunday Student Servants
Students (middle school & high school) are invited to stay after church for an afternoon of service. We have a fun time as work on goofy videos for announcements, box cans of food, or do whatever we canfind to do to serve in our church and community. Students are encouraged to pack a lunch and are welcomed to stay through the evening service.
OPEN EYES
On the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, during the school year, the students are invited to participate in the OPEN EYES students service. It is a service and environment created especially for the
teenagers. It is a great place to bring, make, invite, and see friends. The program runs from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
Monthly Activities
Our monthly activities vary from month to month. Students and parents help us decide on our yearly calendar. You can read about “how we decide to do what we do“. The monthly calendar and church publications will keep you informed about the upcoming monthly activity.
Yearly Events
We have several yearly events that help our students grow in their Christian life. Every year we will attend the Our Generation Camp (the first week of June) and the Our Generation Summit (the last weekend in December). Both events are hosted by our church and you can learn more
about them at www.bcwe.org/events.
