These are the missionaries that Vision Baptist currently supports financially on a monthly basis.

South America

  • Jeff and Mindy Bush – Argentina
    • Jeff serves in Argentina through Macedonia World Baptist Missions.  He has been in Argentina since 2004 and has started several churches and a Bible Institute.  He has trained several young men to be pastors and has a radio ministry in the country.

  •  Kevin and Beth White – Bolivia
    • The Whites serve in Bolivia through Macedonia World Baptist Missions.  While in college, Kevin was challenged about mission and the specific need in South America.  After graduation, he and Beth started deputation and finished in 2004.  They spent time in Peru doing their internships and language school and then began a great ministry in Bolivia.

  • Jeremy and Rebekah Hall – Peru
    • The Halls serve in Peru through Macedonia World Baptist Missions.  In 2004, Jeremy sold everything and went down to help work in the ministry in Peru and to study from the missionaries and the college there.  At the end of 2005, he was accepted as a full-time missionary.  He met his wife while they were both on separate trips to Peru and now they are serving there together.

  • Jason and Jenny Kennedy – Chile
    • The Kennedys serve in Chile through Macedonia World Baptist Missions.  They arrived in Chile in 2008 and, after a year of language school,  they began to work among the churches and in starting new ones.

  • Lorenzo and Victoria Laura – Bolivia
    •  Lorenzo and Victoria are graduates of the Peru Baptist College. They are church planting missionaries in the country of Bolivia through Vision Baptist Missions.  In 2004, the Laura family left the church where Lorenzo had been pastor for around 8 years. Since then, they have been serving in the city of Cobija, Bolivia, an area of about 20,000 people.
  • Joe and Lisa Kotvas – Deaf of Peru
    • The Kotvas serve the deaf of Peru through Macedonia World Baptist Missions.  They have been working in the country since 1999, running a children’s home and pastoring a church, both for the deaf.

  • The Peru Bible College
    • The Peru Bible college is the result of the ministry of Pastor Gardner when he was a missionary to Peru from 1989-2005. It is now run by his son Chris Gardner and a team of pastors.

  • Julio and Paola Marquina – Venezuela
    • Julio serves with Macedonia World Baptist Missions as a church planter in the country of Venezuela.
  • Jonathan and Yolanda Ramirez – Peru
    • Jonathan serves as the assistant pastor of to the deaf of Efata Baptist Church in Lima, Peru.

Africa

  •  Keith and Rebecca Shumaker – Burkina Faso
    • The Shumakers serve in Burkina Faso with Macedonia World Baptist Missions.  They arrived in Burkina at the end of 2004 and have started five churches.  They also have a Bible College, where they have already trained several young men to be pastors of the churches.  The Shumakers are doing a truly great work in Burkina.

  • David and Beth Gates – Egypt
    • The Gates are missionaries to Egypt through Macedonia World Baptist.  They have been in Egypt since 2010.
  • A.B. – Morocco
    • Because of the sensitivity of the work in Morocco, we can’t give the names and details of our missionaries here.
  • C.C. – Morocco
    • Because of the sensitivity of the work in Morocco, we can’t give the names and details of our missionaries here.
  • Vicente and Gabriella Garcia – Burkina Faso
    • Vincente and Gabriella are graduates of the Peru Baptist College. They are church planting missionaries to the country of Burkina Faso with Vision Baptist Missions.  Vicente and Gabriela lived in the USA for six years, where they were saved, and Vicente surrendered to preach. They then moved to Peru, where they studied in the ministry for five years. In October of 2009, they landed in Burkina Faso.
  • Kevin and Corli Hall – South Africa
    • The Halls serve in South Africa through Macedonia World Baptist Missions.  They have started he first independent Baptist churches among the Xhosa people.

Asia

  • Jake and Stephanie Taube – China
    • The Taubes are serving Harbin, China with Macedonia World Baptist Missions.  They have been in China since 2007 and have started three churches and have trained several young men to be pastors.

  • Matt and Becky Allen – Papua New Guinea
    • Matt and his family are currently serving in the country of Papua New Guinea. He started deputation in 2002, and reached the field in only 14 months. Matt graduated from Piedmont Baptist in 2002, where he studied in the field of missionary aviation.

Europe

  • Chris and Sherry Waye – United Kingdom
    • Chris is a graduate of The Our Generation Training Center. The Waye Family are members of Victory Baptist Church in Loganville, GA and are church planting missionaries to the British Isles through Vision Baptist Missions.  They are currently on deputation.

Other Fields

  • Antioch Printing Ministry
    • David and Stephanie Young are leading the work of the Antioch Printing Ministry out of Harlem, GA.  They are publishing the gospel to take to the world.

  • René and Freda Freret – BEAMS
    • Dr. Freret is the President and Director of Beams Bible International which serves in Bible education and Missionary Service.

  • Bradley & Kelleigh Edmondson – Medical Mission Outreach
    • Medical Mission Outreach helps missionaries spread the gospel by holding medical clinics on foreign fields.  Everything is done under the local umbrella of the missionary’s church, so that the new converts will be able to be trained and discipled with the church.
