I am so grateful for such a wonderful church that always get behind their teenagers! Many of you have asked how you could help out with Dodge Hunger. Thank you so much for offering to help us as we prepare for our 2nd Annual Dodge Hunger event this Friday.
If you have not heard about Dodge Hunger you can learn more about it at www.DodgeHunger.com. It is a trio of a food drive, lock-in, and dodgeball tournament that will be used to invite people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and help some people in Atlanta “dodge hunger”.
Here are some practical ways that you can help:
- INVITE every teenager you know to participate. You never know what might come you from crossing your street to invite the teens that live next door to you.
- PRAY! This should go without saying, however, it is so vitally important that I do not want it to be forgotten. We need God to draw people to Him.
- BRING CANS OF FOOD and drop them off at the church. They will go towards our food drive total.
- BRING GIVE AWAY ITEMS on Friday night from 10 – 12 am we will be having a 2 hour program at the church. During the second hour we will be preaching the Gospel. In the first hour we will be playing different games to help create excitement for the night. We could use the following: 2 Liters, Bags of Chips, Boxes of Little Debbie Snack cakes,Bags of Candy, etc
- SPONSOR a teenager. All students will be required to bring 10 cans of food and $25 to participate in this campaign. Any monies donated to Dodge Hunger marked sponsor will help off set the price of some of the teenagers who need a little assistance coming.

Pastor Trent Cornwell and his wife Stephanie are celebrating 4 years of marriage today. God has really blessed this family. They have been greatly used of God in the ministry. They have influenced many lives for the cause of Christ.

God has just recently given them their second child, Tinsley. Their heart to raise their children for the Lord Jesus Christ is so inspiring. I have never known anyone with any more passion for the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Trent is a man of God in every way that you can think of. He has surrendered his life and hungers desperately every day to be just the man that God wants him to be.

Happy Anniversary to Trent and Stephanie. You could never understand how much I love and respect you. Thank you for all you do. You both of wonderful testimonies. You are being used of God. You are making a difference.
We hope that you have a super wonderful day! I pray God continues to use you and you continue to enjoy so much serving our King.

Let’s be honest, traveling around the world is expensive. Airfare alone with all its hidden costs can easily break anyone’s budget. But what if you could see the world, without leaving the United States?
The world itself has gotten smaller. It was once normal that in order to taste authentic Indian food, you would need to travel to India. Or, if you had an interest in Somalia, it would be nearly impossible to get to Somalia to meet and converse with a Somalian. Those days, however, are over.
This summer in Atlanta, Georgia; high school and college age students can see the world in what is becoming one of the most culturally diverse cities in the nation. In the city of Atlanta, within one hour you can make it to either the largest Islamic mosque in the Southeastern United States or the largest Hindu temple within the entire country. There are an estimated 100,000 Chinese and 75,000 Muslims living in the Atlanta area. In addition to these people groups there are also Korean, Japanese, Indian, Pakistani, Vietnamese, Bosnian and many more ethnicities that are all found in the city.
This five day long camp is also unique in that it directs students towards the cause of world missions. Students will spend time on the street, in a mosque, at a Buddhist temple and visit many other places as they learn about cultures and religions from all over the world that need to hear the Gospel message. Not only will they be able to have experiences that many Americans have not had, but they will also be challenged by missionaries from around the world and spend time with them as well.
The camp takes place June 14-18. What is the cost? At only $125 ($25 registration fee and $100 camp fee), it is certainly cheaper than flying round trip to nearly any city within the USA. You can find out more information and register now by going to bcwe.org and clicking on events. You do not want to miss this camp, it is five days that can change the world.
