Numbers 5:1-3 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead: Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.
I love how God shows His superiority to culture and science. Long before anyone knew about the spread of diseases God gave instructions to His people about how to stop the spread of diseases. He said separate the sick ones from the healthy ones.
Do you stand in awe when you read His Book? I do. I am always impressed about how men knew more that 4,000 years ago to do things that science needed centuries to figure out. God gave us an inspired Book.
