John 7:5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.
Did you ever think that Jesus felt rejected? In this passage His own family is trying to tell Him what to do to be recognized by men. He knew that God wasn’t ready for Him to make public His ministry. His own family was critical of Him. They didn’t believe in Him.
I don’t think it should shock you that many people do not believe in your ministry. If they rejected Jesus and didn’t believe in Him what can we expect for us?
So go do the work. Seek to please the Lord Jesus. Seek His will and work. Don’t be surprised when people do not understand you. It will hurt but you see it coming.
