Luke 8:39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.
God did a work in the life of this demon possessed man. He really wanted to go with Jesus and the disciples. Instead he was told to return to his own house and show, not just tell them how great things God had done to him.
He went home. He not only told his family but he told everybody every where what had happened to him. He was genuinely affected and excited about what had happened in his life.
The question that comes to mind is, Has Jesus done anything in your life that is worth telling about? If He has why don’t we tell it? Why are we so timid about the greatest, most important thing that ever happened in our life?
Why do we at best and even then timidly tell it at home but not at work? Today is a challenge to look your life over and see what He has done. Once you know what He has done in your life then tell somebody.
The news ought to be so exciting that we cannot keep our mouths shut!
amen brother,i still remember when i just got saved,I could not wait to tell people what the Lord did for me.I really was very shy,and could not help keep it inside.I alomst told everyone.this morning I just pray about what i realy need to do.please pray for me,and that is all I can ask for now.thanks lot and may the Lord bless you as always does.amen
