Judson ElÃas Masters
We have a new addition to the family! Last Friday, October 9, 2009 at 9:28 A.M. our son, Judson ElÃas Masters, was born in Alpharetta, Georgia. We thank God for giving us the honor of being parents of two of the greatest kids in the world (I know I’m biased, but what parent isn’t). I’ve added some pictures below, and as soon as we get a decent family shot, I’ll replace the one above as well. Thank you for encouraging us through your prayers and support.
Praise the Lord, Judson has a cleft lip but he does not have a cleft palate. It is a blessing because this condition does not affect his ability to eat nor will it hinder his speech in the future. The surgery that is necessary to repair his lip is pretty minor evidently. It is just a matter of waiting until he is big enough to undergo it. We are praying that the Lord will give us wisdom in knowing when to have it done. Ideally, we would like to have it done by the time we leave for the field in January.

The Lord has blessed our missions conf. and we will exceed last year’s amounts, esp. if we do as well on designated giving. We’ll soon be sending love offerings and the church has approved to take on all four of you for $100/mo. If you do not have your total amount needed before you have to leave, let me know because I’ll recommend us trying to make the difference. You both are a great blessing and we’ll keep in touch.
