Numbers 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
God’s people saw themselves as grasshoppers, as supper small in the eyes of their enemies. They also “know” that their enemies see them the same way. They are seeing with their physical eyes and not with their spiritual.
Those who see things physically will use their lack of spiritual insight to discourage others. Deuteronomy 1:28 There will also be “brethren” that stand ready to discourage you. They will remind you of how big your problems are.
They will not talk bad about your God they will just ignore Him and His promises. They will see giants while the God of Heaven sees all of us as grasshoppers. Isaiah 40:22.
There is a strong lesson here today. Quit looking at your enemies and obstacles as being so big. Be realist enough to see them but see a God that is super sized bigger than the problem. Trust Him to already have a solution.
Notice they think about how big the giants are. You should think about how big your God is. They ignore God and talk of giants. We basically ignore giants and talk about how big our God is.
The problem is not how the enemy sees us but how we see ourselves. The problem is not so much how we see ourselves but how we look at ourselves and forget who we are connected to.
You are a child of the great God of Heaven. You are on a mission for Him. He cannot and will not lose.
Look for the solution and quit giving Satan and Obstacles more credit than they deserve!
