Matthew 9:37-38 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest

Have you every noticed that there are few commands about what to pray. We can pray about anything. But we are commanded to pray specifically about few things.
One of them that is mentioned more than once is this command to pray. We are to pray that the Lord would send forth laborers into His harvest. There are many that are ready to be saved. The harvest is plenteous. The problem is that we need more people to go.
We seem to pray about everything else and little about this one. We ask God for all sorts of things but rarely do we think about the multitudes that need the gospel.
Could you begin to pray for the world that they could have a preacher? Could you begin to think in terms of lost people wanting to hear the gospel, ready to receive the gospel who have no preacher?
When is the last time that you asked God to send laborers to the fields of the world?
China has an estimated population of 1,330,044,544 as of July 2008. They are in desperate need of preachers of the gospel.
India has an estimated population of 1,147,995,904. Who will go and tell them about the Lord Jesus?
As of these same estimates the world has a population of 6,706,993,152. So many in desperate need of the gospel.
Might I remind you that no one can be saved, go to Heaven without going through Jesus. John 14:6
Might I remind you of the promise that if they will but call on Him they can be saved but they can not call unless they believe. They can not believe unless they hear. They can not hear without a preacher. Romans 10:13-17
Will you take the time right now to ask God to send men and women into the world to share the gospel message with others? Will you look at how God might use you to get the gospel to the world?
Are you involved in giving to world missions? You can give through our regular offering to our missionaries by simply marking it for missions or faith promise!
We are commanded to pray that God will send out people to take the gospel. Will you pray that?
