Dear Vision
I am excited about all that God is doing. He has been magnifying Himself here in our church. Today we will look at Defeating Death by Faith and see how three ordinary men were able to die in faith. Actually their death bed may have been their finest moment. Are you ready to face death. There is so much that we need to learn both about living and dying and the Word of God has the answer for us.
This Thursday night is going to be a great night for our church. I hope you will plan to be with us. We will be having special guests and a very special service. We will ordain David Gardner to the gospel ministry. We will also have David and Katie’s blessing service. We will also have a commissioning service for them as missionaries out of our church. They leave for Peru on June 2nd.
Dr Dean Hamby, Dr Charles Blackstock, Pastor Gary Ledford, and several others will be with us for this special service. I hope that you will be with us. At 5 pm we will have a special meal together especially for all the visitors that are coming for this special night. If you could bring a dish and help with this special evening please see Amy Coffey.
Don’t forget to write a note to go in the Encouraging Box that we will present them. If you would like to honor them with a love offering then come prepared for that also. They will sure be able to use all the help we can give them as they leave for Peru.
There are a lot of other things happening in our church and so I hope that you will get involved in all of it.
