Start today praising!

Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Here is one of those verses! A verse that should get your attention. It says that He loads us with benefits. He does this on a day by day basis.

I know that in times like these you are tempted to listen to all the bad news. All you hear is how the end is near, you are going to be broke, the banks are failing, things are the worse that they have been since who knows when.

I would like to remind you that things aren’t that bad. They might not be as good as they have been but we are born again Christians. Those of us that are saved, belong to the family of God need to remember that it matters not who the president is or how the economy goes.

This verse was written long before the founding of the “greatest country in the world!” The man who wrote this psalm had his share of problems but he realized that God was good to him.

There is an old song that says, “Count your many blessings, name them one by one and it will surprise what the Lord has done!” Do you ever think like that.

This verse says that God is good to us every day. He daily, that means Mondays, last days of the month, even the days we get bad news, loads us with benefits.

He loads, that is a word that speaks about putting a burden on us! The burden He puts on us is benefits. What is the question you ask about the new job? What are the benefits? Well He daily loads us with benefits.

What a privilege to be saved! God has been so good to me. I am sitting in a warm house, reading His Word! I have the privilege of taking my requests to a prayer hearing and prayer answering God.

He has blessed me. Today I will be in a Bible study, talk with other Christians, enjoy my salvation. What a God.

You can focus on what you want! I think I will spend the day trying to think of all the benefits He has poured out on me. And then I think that tomorrow I will consider a whole new load that He will put on me!

Wow! He daily loads us with benefits. Can it get any better than that!
