Encouraging news

The following is from Tyler Master’s blog and I thought that it might encourage you as you give to help us do things that get the gospel to the entire world.

Technology is absolutely amazing.

After our morning services here in North Africa yesterday we all went back to the house to eat lunch. Around 3:30 P.M. I went into the living room and tuned in to Vision Baptist Church’s morning service online. Their website has a live feed that allows us to watch and listen from anywhere around the world (click here to check it out). It was like being back home with everybody.

As the church sang hymns the rest of our group decided to trickle into the room with me and see what was going on. We had nine North Americans, a North African, and a Peruvian in attendance. It was great!

We did the same thing for the evening service (which starts at 11:15 P.M. here).

Both messages spoke to all of our hearts and were “coincidentally” issues that we have been discussing a lot over here throughout the trip.

Thank you, Pastor Gardner and Vision Baptist Church for making it possible to be a part of your services. It was a real blessing and challenge for all of us here on the other side of the world. You have truly impacted my life and ministry, and I just wanted to let you know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
