It is obviously an unborn human baby!

Our newest grandson, Andrew, is featured below still in the womb at about 5 months since conception unless I am mistaken.  As you look at the pictures on this page I just want you to consider the wonder of it all and how God has given us real babies even in the womb.  This type of sonogram will make an abortion much more difficult for most people I think.

Below check out another interesting picture.  I think that it is pretty obvious that it is a human in the womb.

The following is taken from a web page belonging to the Daily Mail in Great Britain.  You will find the links at the bottom of the article so that you can read and investigate more.

Never seen before: this remarkable image of an unborn elephant, taken approximately six months into the two-year gestation period, was captured using a combination of 3D ultrasound scans and tiny cameras inserted into the mother’s womb. They were taken for the National Geographic TV channel, to be shown next year.

Does the baby feel pain as it is being aborted?

“In the United States unborn children are subjected to trauma through abortion that causes them excruciating pain, which would be illegal if inflicted on animals in commerce or research,” NRLC legislative director Douglas Johnson wrote to members of Congress.

He said the measure contains extensive findings including scientific evidence that unborn children would experience great pain during abortions by 20 weeks.

“The findings cite a number of existing federal laws that seek to diminish the suffering of animals, such as restrictions on how livestock are slaughtered and restrictions on the use of animals in medical research,” Johnson added.

Johnson said the measure applies to all abortions done after 20 weeks of pregnancy, regardless of the method used.

On the anesthesia requirement, he said mothers would be allowed to sign a form saying whether they wanted anesthesia for their baby.

Becoming Men

I hope you will read the following article and use it to motivate each other and our sons to do great things for God.  The article comes from the Boundless Webzine and a link to finish reading the article is at the end of this introduction of the article.

Becoming Men: Feats of our Forefathers

by Alex and Brett Harris

We’re all familiar with names like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams and John Hancock. These men, along with others, were our forefathers and the founders of our nation. They signed the Declaration of Independence and wrote the Constitution. They won the Revolutionary War.

Not only that, but their incredible accomplishments weren’t limited to their adult lives. John Hancock entered Harvard University when he was 13 years old. Samuel Adams completed his master’s degree before he turned 21. Thomas Jefferson frequently studied 15 hours a day during his time at the College of William and Mary.

Of course, at this point it’s easy for all of us normal people to place these guys in the “superhuman” or “so-smart-it’s-disgusting” category and move on. However, there’s a danger in thinking that God simply blessed America with a generation chock-full of patriotic super-nerds just in time to write the Constitution.

You see, once we label people as a “geniuses” we usually cease to feel the need to learn from them or to be challenged by their example. The truth is that our forefathers weren’t nerds and their early college entrances were not unusual for their time.

Rather, what stood these young men apart from their peers was (1) a seemingly corporate sense that age could not keep them from accomplishing great things, and (2) an extraordinary drive that we like to call the “do hard things” mentality.

As we explore the different ways these traits played out in the early years of some of our most famous forefathers, our hope is that we will all gain a greater vision of our own God-given potential and calling.

Less than half of households are married couples, and singles aren’t rushing to wed

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 Georgia now has only 49.5 percent are homes with married couples with or without children.

In Georgia almost 4 in 10 babies are born to single moms.

People are afraid of divorce.

You can read all the article at http://www.ajc.com/search/content/living/stories/2006/11/27/1128lvlessmarried.html

These are just more ministry opportunities for Vision.  We must realize that there many people that are in need of the help that only the Word of God and the church can give.  God can meet every need of every person that will but allow Him to work in their lives.

The Jeff Andrews family, missionaries of the week!

Jeff and Deanna Andrews and their son Aaron are missionaries to Spain.  They are very wonderful and super talented  people.  I know that God is going to use them in a great way.  They spent about a year in Peru where Jeff was studying Spanish and we had the privilege of working with them.  Deanna comes from a long history of a great family of missionary service.  She is a third generation missionary and about all of her family, uncles, grandparents, brother, etc. are serving God on the mission field.

Please pray for them.  They were on their way to Venezuela but due to the problems of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and the governments refusal to grant visas for missionaries they are now headed to Spain.

I invite you to get a copy of their music CD in the back of the church auditorium.  You can get more information about it or order it on line at this link.

If you would like to contact them you may do so at

Principal Passion

“Ministers have the central responsibility for ensuring that missions are a principal passion of their congregations (and not a peripheral program for the super saints).” - Michael Griffiths
